Stephanie Sanchez

Stephanie M. Sánchez is from the South Valley and an Atrisco Land
Grant heir. She graduated from Rio Grande High School and went on to earn her PhD from the Department of Anthropology at the University of New Mexico where she wrote her dissertation, Women and Cultural Production: Fiestas, Families, and Foodways in San Rafael, New Mexico. Stephanie is currently the Associate Director of student learning at the UNM Center for Teaching and Learning and a lecturer in Chicana/o Studies. She is the GHHA Membership Committee Chair and a member of the Exhibits Committee.
